From celeb’s Republic day celebrations to some exciting new film announcements and newlywed couple Varun and Natasha being snapped while returning to Mumbai, here are all the big news and gossips from the world of entertainment.

As the country marked its 72nd Republic Day today, celebs joined in the celebrations by waving the national flag, sharing their messages of love and peace and also posting pictures of the Constitution. Picking out their best tri-colored traditional ensembles, the stars from Tiger shroff to Sara Ali khan, Ishaan Khatter to Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonu Sood, Sidharth Malhotra and many others took to social media to send out their greetings. B-town’s kiddies also joined in the festivities by showing off their little artworks, posey pictures and more.

Varun dhawan may have kept his wedding to Natasha dalal, a fiercely private affair, but photos and videos from the big day have been making rounds on the internet. From photos of Varun planting a kiss on Natasha’s cheek to the hunk brimming with excitement as he got ready to take the plunge to gloriously candid clicks from their Roka ceremony, we got them all. The cuties returned home to the big city this afternoon after spending some alone time in Alibaug, unwinding from all the wedding festivities.

Moving on to something less romantic, we got word that the makers of Janhvi Kapoor‘s’ Good Luck Jerry’ has decided to shift their shooting from Patiala to Chandigarh owing to security concerns in the wake of a recent incident lead by protesting farmers. “It has been decided to carry on with the shoot in Chandigarh. We will be there for four days,” said sources.

While one team struggles with some roadblocks on the sets, filmmaker Nikhil Dwivedi seems to be ready to roll out his next. On the national holiday, the filmmaker announced his next production venture titled ‘1971’. We got word that it is going to be a mega war film based on the Indo-Pakistan war. It will also revolve around the Liberation of Dacca. Nikhil was working on putting the film together for some time now and couldn’t think of a better day to make the big announcement than on Republic day.
